Ingredients
2 Tablespoons butter
1 cup maple or maple-flavored syrup
2 Tablespoons corn syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
8-10 cups plain popcorn, popped
1 cup peanuts
Instructions
Line 2 cake pans with non-stick foil. Preheat oven to 250 degrees. In medium-size saucepan, melt butter, Stir in syrups, sugar, and salt.
Bring to a boil, stirring, then let boil 4 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat; add vanilla and soda. Place popcorn in a large bowl and drizzle with syrup; mixing well until coated. Stir in nuts. Divide mixture between lined pans. Bake for 40-50 minutes until coating hardens, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool before breaking into bite-sized pieces.
